She wore her scars as her best attire, a stunning dress made of hell fire. This church - St.Dunstan - in London was badly burned in The Great Fire of London in 1666. What is remarkable to me is that the walls of this church still stand and it has been transformed into a beautiful quiet park setting. The regrowth of flowers and foliage is STUNNING with the old walls of the building. I knew I had to photograph this church. I love what it represents and to me it is even more beautiful with its stories and scars. Just like many of us carry around stories and scars, they are what make us who we are today.
